  • 4 9 mm cylindrical metal fashion beads, nickel
  • 1 tube of 0.18 oz of E-6000 glue
  • Tools

  • Scissors
  • Ruler

How-to steps: making a 4 strand braid

Step 1
Measure and cut 4 lengths of suedine cord of 30 cm each.

Step 2
Gather the cords on one end, so as for them to be even.

Step 3
Put a drop of E-600 glue then, insert them in one of the clasp’s part. Plan about 30 minutes for the drying time before beginning the braiding.

TIP:To facilitate the making of this bracelet, we suggest that you secure, using a stand of string, the fold of the leather cord to a support, such as a nail fixed to a table or a chair’s bar.

Step 4
Separate the 4 cords. Cross the 2 cords on another as illustrated.

Step 5
Pass the left cord under the previously crossed cords. Then, pass the same cord over the right cord from the middle while tightening the clasp, as illustrated. It will become the central left cord.

Step 6
Pass the external right cord under the 2 middle cords. Then pass it over the left middle cord while tightening towards the top as illustrated.

Step 7
Continue in this fashion by repeating steps 5 and 6 while maintaining a constant tension.

Decorating the braid and finishing touches

Step 8
String the series of beads illustrated by solidly keeping the end of the braid firmly to prevent it from unraveling.

Determine the length of your bracelet by measuring it on your wrist. Do not forget to keep some space for the clasp.

Step 9
Cut any excess cord and repeat step 2 and 3 to join the second part of the clasp to the bracelet.
