Clear casting epoxy

This package contains a bottle of resin and a hardening agent bottle. These two liquids must be mixed together in equal parts. Use wooden sticks and a graduated disposable container (not included) to mix the epoxy mixture. Then, the epoxy is poured in a mold or a chosen container. the resin take 12 to 48 hours to set and cure. resin is translucent and transparent. Be careful, it is important to read the package’s instructions before beginning. Contains 8 oz or 286 ml.

Craft brush

Flat craft paint brush that measures 15 cm. The handle of the brush is hollow and the brush's head measures 2 cm and is made from synthetic fibres.     

Demoulding vaseline

Demoulding vaseline is a liquid used to ease the demoulding of casted and molded pieces of resin. Using a paintbrush, apply a thin layer of demoulding vaseline to the bottom of the mold before pouring the resin.

Dropper

A pipette is a small tube used to collect and measure liquids. Pipettes can be made of glass or flexible plastic. Some are graduated to measure liquid. For jewelry making, pipettes are used to collect liquids such as casting resin and paint. The pipette also helps when pouring liquids in accessories that are hollow. Depending on the material with which it was used, the pipette can be cleaned then reused. For example, a pipette that was used with casting resin can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol whereas a pipette used with Pebeo Prisme Fantasy paint can be cleaned with mineral spirit.

Glazing resin

This kit contains a bottle of resin and a bottle of hardening agent. These two substances must be mixed in, as such; 2 part resin for 1 part of hardening agent. The resin can be mixed in using (flat-headed) wooden stirrers in disposable graduated plastic cups. These two accessories are included in the kit as well as a pair of disposable gloves. This type of resin helps create relief on flat surfaces, it is often used for its embossed effect similar to that of a cabochon. Drying time is about 6 hours and it takes 12 hours for it to completely dry.

Graduated mixing cups (1 oz)

Graduated plastic cups used to measure and mix. Packs of 25 cups graduated from 2,5 to 30 ml. Measures are also offered in ounces, drams (drachmae), and in tea or table spoon.

Jewelry clear casting resin

Practical set that contains a bottle of resin and a bottle of hardening agent, two pouring spouts, two small plastic graduated cups and two wooden stir sticks. Both liquids must be mixed together in equal parts. Use the sticks to mix the paste in the disposable plastic containers. Mix well and then pour into a mold or in a chosen container. The resin takes 12 to 48 hours to cure and dry. Resin is translucent and transparent. Be careful, it is important to read the instructions carefully before proceeding. Contains 118 ml.

Mold release and conditioner

Product used to facilitate the removal of resin from molds. Vaporize some product inside the mold and let it dry before pouring the resin. Shake well before using. Read the instructions provided before proceeding.

Molds for casting resin

Rigid plastic tray that has different molds and is used to pour resin. It is used to obtain different shapes using resin. Put the plate on a flat surface and pour the resin mix in the mold. Wait until the resin has set (minimum 24 hour) before removing the resin pieces. Once the resin has set and is cured, flip over the tray and push in its middle to push out the piece. To obtain a nice finish, it is suggested to avoid over filling the mold. Using a conditioner is recommended.

Odourless mineral spirit

Mineral spirit is an odourless solvent that allows to clean tools that were used to apply oil paint, varnish or other mediums such as Pebeo Prisme Fantasy paint. Mineral spirit is transparent but can change color with time without affecting its efficiency. Mineral spirit can also be used to dilute paint colors. It is also a great alternative to turpentine.

Opaque pigment for clear casting resin

Opaque pigment used to color transparent resin. Add it a drop at a time in the resin and hardening agent mixture until you obtain the desired shade.

Painting with effects

Pebeo Fantasy paint is a paint that has amazing properties! During curing time, a pattern will slowly appear. Two varieties of this range of paintings are often used for jewelry making: Prisme and Moon. With the Prisme painting, small circles will appear during curing time, similar to that of drop of oil in water. As for the Moon painting, it is an opalescent and pearly aspect that will appear. The intensity of the pattern varies according to the thickness of the paint used. It takes about 6 hours to dry in surface and 72 hours for it to fully dry. The paint can be applied using a small pipette on a flat or horizontal surface or a larger surface for better results. In jewelry making, this paint is often applied in hollow finishing accessories, then it is covered with transparent casting resin (when the paint is really dry) to create a bumpy and shiny effect. It is possible to clean the tools used during its application with mineral spirit. It is not recommended to expose it to direct sunlight.

Pébéo Resin kit Crystal

This kit contains a bottle of resin and a bottle of hardening agent. These two substances must be mixed in, as such; 2 part resin for 1 part of hardening agent. The resin can be mixed in using (flat-headed) wooden stirrers in disposable graduated plastic cups. Once all the components are well mixed, the resin must be cast in a chosen recipient. The setting time varies between 12 to 24 hours. Resin is solid, translucent and transparent. Unused resin can be kept for up to 6 months after the jars have been opened.

Warning: it is important to read the instructions thoroughly before starting. Contains 150ml. It is not recommended to expose it to direct sunlight.

Relief outliner

Pebeo relief outliner is a water-based opaque clay that is used to make embossed patterns. The clay is ready to be used and can be applied straight from the tube. The clay can be applied on many different surfaces such as glass, porcelain and cleaned wood. Drying time is 1 hour (surface) and it takes 24 hours for it to fully dry. This product is available in 7 colors, in 20ml tubes.

Silicone molds

Silicone trays offer various molds to pour resin, which allows making various shapes. Place the tray flat on a work area and pour the resin mix in the mold. Wait for the resin to be well set (minimum of 24 hours) before demoulding the pieces. Once the resin is set and has hardened, take the piece out by pushing the back of the mold and there you go! To obtain a nice finish, do not overfill the mold

Silicone putty for mold making

Silicone putty allows to create molds from objects that surround you (charms, pendant, coins, seashell, twigs etc.). These molds are then used to pour resin. It contains 2 pastes that harden when mixed in equal parts. The paste takes on a flexible rubber texture. Warning: you dispose of about 3 minutes to kneed the paste homogeneously and mold the object before the silicone putty starts to cure. waiting time is about 25 minutes. Molds are flexible and supple. It is thus possible to reuse them. Read the instructions provided on the package before proceeding.

Stand with 2 Clips

Third hand or helping hand, this tool has two crocodile clips which hold objects and allow hands to be free, thus to work freely. The stand has several joints that can modify the alignment of several of its elements. This stand is very useful for tasks such as painting a small object, collages, welding or assembling.
