The making of the circular elements:
middle element

Step 1
On an eye pin, string the following sequence of beads; a 6 mm fossil bead, a 10/0 seed bead, a 4 mm fossil bead, a 10/0 seed bead, a 3 mm metal bead and a 11/0 Delica seed bead.

Step 2
Using chain nose pliers or your fingers, bend the pin at a 90˚ angle. Cut the pin at ≈ 8 mm of the last strung bead.

Step 3
With the round nose pliers, pinch the end of the pin and twist it towards the center of the bead to start the loop.

Step 4
Close the loop in the axis of the pin. With the chain nose pliers, straighten up the loop if needed so that it remains parallel to the first loop.

Step 5
Repeat 15 times steps 1 to 4 to obtain a total of 16 links.

Tip :If you are having a hard time stringing the seed beads on the eye pins, cut the tip of the eye pin with the cutter pliers.

Step 6
Using two chain nose pliers, open a fuchsia aluminum jump ring. Insert this jump ring in the loop that you created from each links, as illustrated.

Step 7
Slowly close the aluminum jump ring using two chain nose pliers.

Step 8
Measure and cut about 30 cm of nylon coated steel string. At one of the ends, place a bead stopper on the string to prevent the beads from falling. Thread the string through the exterior loop of a link. Add a 3 mm metal bead, a 11/0 Delica seed bead, a 10/0 seed bead, another 11/0 Delica seed bead and another 3 mm metal bead. Pass the string through the loop of the next link.

Step 9
Repeat this step 14 times to complete the outline of the circle, except for the last space.

Step 10
For the space, prepare the sequence of beads, but instead of finishing it with a 3 mm metal bead, string a 2 mm crimp bead. Cross both strings in the crimp bead. Tighten it if needed, then crush the crimp bead with the standard crimping pliers.

Warning :If you pull too much on the strings when crushing the crimp bead, your element will curve. Leave a bit of space to allow for a 3 mm cover crimp.

Step 11
Cut the excess string and put a cover crimp using the mighty crimping pliers.

Preparation of circular elements:
secondary elements

Step 12
On an eye pin, string the following sequence of beads; a 4 mm fossil bead, a 4 mm bicone Stellaris crystal bead, a 10/0 seed bead and a 11/0 seed bead.

Step 13
Make a loop, as shown in steps 2 to 4.

Step 14
Repeat 16 times steps 12 and 13 to get a total of 17 links. Gather the links on an aluminum jump ring, as shown on steps 6 and 7.

Step 15
Measure and cut about 25 cm of nylon coated steel string. At one of the ends, place a bead stopper on the string. Thread the string in the exterior loop of a link. Add a 10/0 seed bead, a 3 mm metal bead, and a 10/0 seed bead and make the string go through the loop of the next link.

Step 16
Repeat this step 15 times to complete the outline of the circle, except for the last space.

Step 17
For this space, thread a 10/0 seed bead on each string, then cross both strings in a 2 mm crimp bead, as illustrated. Tighten it if needed, then crush the crimp bead.

Step 18
Cut any excess string and place a cover crimp using the mighty crimping pliers. Repeat 3 times steps 12 to 18 to obtain a total of 4 secondary elements.

Putting together the circular elements

Step 19
Link both secondary elements using a 4 mm jump ring. To achieve that, open the jump ring using two chain nose pliers then, insert it in the loop of one of the element’s links.

Step 20
Insert the same ring in one of the links of a secondary element then close it using two chain nose pliers.

Step 21
Insert another 4 mm jump ring in another secondary element, in the loop of the link opposed to the ring previously placed. Then, insert this ring in the loop of one of the links of the middle element.

Step 22
Repeat steps 19 to 21 to join both secondary elements to the middle element. To determine where to put the second jump ring of the middle element, count 5 links from the first jump ring and add the other jump ring to it.

Finishing touch

Step 23
Measure and cut 2 lengths of 14 cm of chain and make sure to keep a small link at each ends..

Step 24
Fix a piece of chain on each of the last elements of the structure. In order to accomplish this, using two chain nose pliers, open the link located at the end of the chain segment. Insert the link in the loop of the link opposed to the 4 mm jump ring previously installed. Do the same for the other side.

Step 25
Link the clasp to the chain pieces using 2 (4 mm) jump rings.
